Actxa Tempo 4C SpO2

Tempo 4C uses reflectance oximetry based on the light absorption properties of blood. When combines with oxygen, deoxyhemoglobin (Hb) changes its light absorption characteristics. When light (Red light is used for SpO2 measurement) is shined through skin, partly absorbed by the blood and partially reflected depending on the oxygen level present. A light sensor is used to sense the amount of light being reflected and SpO2 can be computed.
